New low cost Dental Clinic operated by LCCTC searching for clients

Written by Valerie Hatfield on Wednesday, 04 January 2017 21:52.

LCCTC is pleased to announce that the Dental Clinic on our Willow Street Campus is open for business and we need your help in getting the word out!  We are seeking patients without dental insurance who are in need of low-cost dental care.

The clinic is open on Mondays from 8:30 am -3:30 pm. and Thursdays and Fridays from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Dr. Marie Kelly will be providing care in conjunction with LCCTC Dental Assistant Instructor Kay Hudak and LCCTC Dental Assisting students. The clinic offered on Monday’s is staffed with Lancaster General Hospital Dental Residents providing care under Dr. Kelly's supervision.

This is an educational clinic in which students will help the licensed dentist in an open-bay clinic where other people may see the patient receiving dental care. Because this is a teaching facility, appointments will take longer; patients should be prepared to be on-site for 2-3 hours depending on the procedure.  LCCTC does not submit any insurance (but can print forms to be submitted) and clinic fees are expected at time of service payable by check or cash. No credit cards are accepted at this time. Click here for fees.

The initial exam, which is provided at no cost, is required prior to treatment. Some patients may have conditions or dental needs that cannot be done in this clinic. Every effort will be made to inform patients of costs prior to an appointment.

Patients must be 12 and older. If patients are under age 18, a parent needs to accompany the minor.
